Ravindra Mahajani: A Marathi actor who made his mark in Hindi cinema

Early life and career
Ravindra Mahajani was born on 1 March 1949 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. He was the son of a school teacher. Mahajani was interested in acting from a young age and started performing in plays at school. After graduating from college, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in Hindi cinema.
Mahajani made her Hindi film debut in the 1972 film "Gharana". He played a supporting role in the film, which starred Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan. Mahajani's performance in the film was well received and soon she started getting offers for other films.
